THE SPACE

“Polo Ridge Villa sleeps 6 guests in this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa. The oversized master with its amazingly comfortable super king size bed fills a private floor upstairs and has a small office nook with a magnificent tropical view. The bathroom suite has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Spacious built in closets and private balcony overlooking the serene pool area completes this space. Two lower bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioners and all of the amenities of home. The floors, deck and courtyard are all covered with porcelain tiles, while granite and marble countertops enhance the kitchen and bathrooms. Envision lounging by an inviting private plunge pool, enjoying indoor or alfresco dining, bbq grill and a great outdoor entertaining space for relaxation and respite.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
On arrival at this home you will be welcomed by our Property Manager, who will introduce you to the property and its inclusive offerings. Additionally, optional services are available which can include arranging a starter pack for your kitchen, such as tea, bread, juice, fruit, etc., as well as an on-site, personal chef as requested. Concierge services are also available before arrival or during your stay including: VIP airport fast track arrival service, securing event and restaurant reservations, local transportation, car hires, tours, excursions, water sports and much, much more.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

The villa is self-catering with the necessary amenities for a great holiday/vacation. (Wi-Fi, linens, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, ceiling fans throughout and air-conditioning in both master suites). At least one mid-stay clean is included with all reservations of 7 days or more. Additional cleans can be arranged upon request. Stays of less than a week incur a USD $50 cleaning fee.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
From pristine sandy beaches and a brilliant blue sea, tropical wildlife, international sporting events, world-class golf courses, delicious dining and a rich local culture, this neighborhood has it all! The Holder’s Hill area is well known on the island for its annual Performing Arts Festival-Holder’s Season, Sandy Lane Golf Course and home to the delightful Holders Farmers Market on Sundays. The market is set in the grounds of the historic Holders House, and overlooking the beautiful Holders Polo Field. Just a stone’s throw away from public tennis courts, a fully equipped public gym and within walking distance to the beach, local and gourmet restaurants and an exciting mix of trendy bars with live entertainment. (Approx. 10-minute walk downhill)
GETTING AROUND
If you are comfortable driving on the right side in a car and on the left side of the road, a car would provide you with the maximum flexibility for touring the island. Public Transportation is readily available, taxis are very affordable and are easy to organize in Barbados. There is a bus stop on the corner, which runs up and down the west coast from Bridgetown through Holetown and on to Speightstown. The buses run extremely frequently. Additionally, the property is ideally located for walking with easy access to many local areas of interest.

    We fell in love with Polo Ridge and all of its many offerings! As couples, we often travel together however, we have various preferences in what we like to do and when we like to do it! We loved that we were able to personalize our stay, we could decide if we wanted to buy local food and cook for ourselves or, if we wanted to have a personal chef to cater to various palettes and dietary needs! We did both! The only problem is that we never wanted to leave the villa, we were so comfortable, that we had to force ourselves to plan a few trips with our personal concierge that is available during your stay, to book a few tours, so that we could at least say that we explored the island! However, we found the perfect solution, instead of a one week stay, we must now find time for two!

    We were a group of 6 – 3 couples and booked this trip over new years fairly late in September. This property met our needs of a private self-contained villa with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, patio and pool (our use only). It was also in a good location just outside of Bridgetown, close to Holetown, near Polo Ridge – the walk up from the coastal highway is a good 20 min. Had all the necessities – towels, linens, beach towels/chairs, clean. The property owners were on site in the unit beside ours – though I think this is a seasonal visit. They also have a property manager that we liased with to coordinate transfers, new years eve events, checkin / checkout, dining options, supermarkets, etc. We were very happy with this property – owners were very nice, property manager was very attentive and responded promptly to our questions. Recommend for a 5-6 people that want a “family” style accommodation.
